ZERO CARBON CHARGE aims to introduce South Africa’s first off-grid national charging network for electric vehicles (EVs), powered entirely by renewable energy. They need an intuitive mobile app to enhance the user experience by simplifying the process of locating, monitoring, and paying for charging services within this extensive network.

We designed and developed the mobile app for ZERO CARBON CHARGE. Our contributions included:
User-Friendly Interface: We developed an intuitive user interface that makes locating available charging stations along strategic highways and major routes easy.
Real-Time Charging Status: The app allows users to monitor their EV’s charging status in real-time on their phones.
Seamless Payments: We integrated the app with the PayGate payment system, enabling secure and hassle-free transactions. The app also includes Sage-ready export files for efficient financial management.

Our team ensured that the mobile application is fully integrated with ZERO CARBON CHARGE’s existing backend systems, providing a smooth and efficient user experience.

Strategic Context: The app supports ZERO CARBON CHARGE’s broader mission of establishing a network of ultra-fast chargers approximately 150 km apart, covering all strategic highways and major routes in South Africa, and powered by 100% renewable energy.
