We are seeking a Backend Developer with 5+ years of experience. A Backend Developer
responsible for designing and delivering scalable, secure backend systems for banking and financial
services platforms. Currently leading the development of a greenfield KYC/AML customer
onboarding platform within a banking environment, while also contributing to society savings and
financial wellness applications aimed at improving user engagement and financial literacy.
#1. Key Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead backend development for a greenfield banking KYC/AML customer onboarding platform
currently in active development
• Architect and implement the full backend infrastructure, database schema, and technology
stack from the ground up
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs
• Ensure compliance with banking, security, and data protection requirements
• Build and support backend services for society savings platforms and financial wellness
applications
• Collaborate closely with product owners, frontend developers, and stakeholders to meet
aggressive delivery timelines
• Review pull requests, enforce coding standards, and mentor developers where required
• Optimise performance, reliability, and scalability of backend systems
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes

TECH STACK
C# .NET 8, Entity Framework Core, Azure App Services, Azure SQL Database, Azure Functions, Azure
API Management.
Work Method
Agile + Scrum (3-week sprints), Azure DevOps for repos, boards, and pipelines, daily stand-ups, PR
reviews, CI/CD
