We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects across the organisation. The successful candidate will manage cross-functional teams, ensure alignment between business and technical stakeholders, and deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced, agile environments.
#1. Key Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Planning & Delivery
· Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
· Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules
· Manage project budgets, resources, and dependencies
· Track progress and ensure delivery against agreed milestones
· Identify and manage project risks, issues, and mitigation strategies
Stakeholder & Team Management
· Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders
· Facilitate communication between business, technical, and vendor teams
· Lead cross-functional project teams (developers, QA, UX, infrastructure, etc.)
· Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment on outcomes
· Provide regular project status updates and reporting
Governance & Process
· Ensure projects follow organisational project management methodologies
· Maintain project documentation (plans, RAID logs, reports, lessons learned)
· Support project governance and decision-making forums
· Ensure quality standards and delivery frameworks are followed
Agile & Delivery Practices
· Facilitate Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) where applicable
· Remove blockers and enable team productivity
· Support continuous improvement of delivery processes
· Promote Agile, DevOps, and collaborative delivery practices
#2. Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field
· 5+ years’ experience managing IT or software development projects
· Proven experience delivering technology projects end-to-end
· Experience working with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
· Experience managing cross-functional technical teams
· Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Preferred
· PMP (Project Management Professional)
· PRINCE2 Practitioner
· Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile certification
